Well, I don't blame Kevin Lowe. Short of offering Smyth the family jewels, it was a good deal that he should have taken.
Smyth betrayed Oilers fans.
Oh, let me clarify one thing - I do blame Lowe for not bartering better. I mean, what Oilers got in return was not very good. It's like Michelle (Oilers) getting me (NY players) in return for me (NY) getting her (Smyth). I (NY) get(s) the better deal.
Lowe should have bartered better than he did. NY truly got the best deal out of this last-minute trade.
